GCM Contracting Solutions Expands Concrete Division with Three Key Appointments

Appointments strengthen GCM’s award-winning, self-performing ConcreteDivision and expand its capacity to deliver complex tilt-up construction acrossSouthwest Florida
FORT MYERS, Fla. —GCMContracting Solutions, a leading Southwest Florida design-buildgeneral contractor specializing in concrete tilt-up construction, has expandedits Concrete Division with the addition of three experienced professionals:Derrick Newton, Director of Operations, Concrete Division; Brady Borkowski,Project Engineer; and Tina Jackson, Warehouse Coordinator.
The appointmentsstrengthen GCM’s self-performing concrete capabilities and support thecompany’s focus on safe, efficient and high-quality project delivery. Together,Newton, Borkowski and Jackson will enhance field execution, safetycoordination, equipment and inventory management, and the deployment of laborand resources across active projects.

As Director of Operations for theConcrete Division, Newton oversees GCM’s concrete operations, including projectplanning, safety, quality, budgets and scheduling. He brings more than a decadeof experience leading commercial, structural, civil and public works projectsvalued from $2 million to $100 million. During his first nine months with GCM,Newton’s leadership contributed to the successful completion of more than 1.36million square feet of concrete work. He also manages field and office teams andsupports the growth of GCM’s concrete professionals.
As Project Engineer, Borkowski handlesfield reporting, project documentation, safety coordination, equipment trackingand contractor prequalification. He has experience managing project teams,schedules, budgets, subcontractors and client relationships. An FAA Part107-certified remote pilot, he also uses drone photography to document progressand conditions at GCM job sites.
As Warehouse Coordinator, Jackson managesthe materials, tools and equipment used across the Concrete Division’sprojects. She brings more than 15 years of experience in inventory control,purchasing, vendor relations and warehouse operations. She coordinates materialorders, tracks company and rental equipment, and ensures teams have what theyneed to work safely and efficiently.
