NAHICA Names QXO as National Sponsor to Expand Opportunities for Latino Contractors
HOUSTON — The National Hispanic Contractors Association has announced a new national sponsorship agreement with QXO, a move aimed at expanding resources and opportunities for Latino contractors across the United States construction industry.
The partnership signals a strategic effort to support one of the fastest-growing segments of the construction workforce, while strengthening initiatives focused on education, business development and industry access.
Under the agreement, QXO will support NAHICA’s programs designed to empower Hispanic contractors, including training initiatives, networking opportunities and improved access to materials and business solutions.
Expanding Resources for a Growing Workforce
NAHICA leaders said the collaboration represents a major milestone in the organization’s mission to elevate Hispanic professionals in construction and roofing. Latino contractors continue to play an increasingly important role in the U.S. building sector, driving demand for targeted resources and support systems.
“Having QXO as a National Sponsor is a powerful step forward for our community,” said Sergio Terreros, president of NAHICA. “Their commitment to supporting Latino contractors aligns directly with our vision of creating access, growth, and long-term success for Hispanic-owned businesses in this industry.”
The association said the additional backing will allow it to broaden its reach and deepen its impact, helping contractors scale operations and compete more effectively in a demanding market.
Partnership Focuses on Growth and Inclusion
As one of North America’s largest publicly traded distributors of roofing, waterproofing and building materials, QXO brings both industry expertise and a focus on innovation to the partnership. The company is also positioning itself as a technology-driven leader in the building products distribution space, with long-term growth goals that include significant revenue expansion.
“QXO is proud to partner with NAHICA and support the Latino contractor community,” said Bernal Fernandez, Hispanic marketing manager at QXO. “We’re focused on ensuring Hispanic contractors have the resources and support they need to thrive in today’s competitive market.”
Through the partnership, both organizations aim to create new pathways for Latino contractors to access business opportunities, strengthen professional networks and increase visibility within the broader construction ecosystem.
NAHICA emphasized that the collaboration will also contribute to broader community development, as contractors supported through these programs play a key role in delivering infrastructure and building projects nationwide.
Founded to advocate for Hispanic professionals in construction, NAHICA continues to focus on expanding access to education, strengthening industry connections and fostering long-term business success. With QXO’s backing, the organization expects to accelerate those efforts and further support the growth of Latino-owned businesses.
