Central Texas remains one of the state's busiest development corridors, stretching from Austin through San Antonio along Interstate 35. Large investments in semiconductor manufacturing, artificial intelligence infrastructure, data centers, healthcare facilities, municipal infrastructure, and logistics projects are sustaining demand for construction services.
The outlook notes that contractors are seeing healthy project pipelines extending several months into the future. However, elevated financing costs and higher prices for materials continue to affect bidding strategies and project margins, requiring firms to carefully evaluate project selection and contract terms.
