Achen-Gardner Donates 8,000 Water Bottles to Arizona Communities

Arizona’s extreme summer temperatures create additional demands for community organizations providing relief services, making access to basic supplies an important local concern. Achen-Gardner Construction has contributed more than 8,000 bottles of water to organizations supporting residents across seven Valley communities.

The heavy civil general contractor announced the community initiative Aug. 27, 2026, as part of its efforts to support organizations serving residents during Arizona’s hottest months.

Water Donations Reach Seven Communities

Achen-Gardner employee-owners participated in collecting, loading and delivering the water to organizations across the Valley. The recipients included Catalina Church in Gilbert, the Buckeye Family Resource Center, Mesa Fire Station 207, The Salvation Army’s Sun Cities West Valley Corps in Surprise, Scottsdale Food Bank, Church of the Epiphany in Tempe and AZCEND Community Center in Chandler.

The distribution model placed water with organizations serving different community needs, including emergency services, food assistance and local resource programs.

Community Support Extends Construction Operations

For construction companies operating in regions exposed to extreme summer heat, community outreach can complement broader workforce and public safety efforts.
