Berghammer Construction has added Jason Piurkowski as senior project manager, bringing field operations and project management experience to its team.
Piurkowski joins Berghammer with experience spanning several construction sectors, including education, multifamily and industrial work. His background includes project management, leadership and mentoring, along with hands-on experience in construction operations.
Piurkowski’s experience covers multiple building sectors, giving Berghammer additional project management capacity across different types of construction work.
His background includes education, multifamily and industrial projects, along with leadership and mentoring responsibilities. The combination of field and management experience provides a broad perspective on project delivery and coordination.
Berghammer provides preconstruction, construction, self-perform and special project services across a range of market sectors, including civic, corporate, education, healthcare, hospitality, industrial and multifamily construction.
Piurkowski entered the construction industry at an early age, working as a carpenter’s helper at 14. He later worked as a yard laborer in marine construction and gained concrete experience during summer breaks from St. Norbert College.
After completing college, Piurkowski began his professional career in property management before continuing into construction. His career progression has included both operational and project management responsibilities.
That combination of early field experience and later management work adds practical construction knowledge to his new role at Berghammer.
As senior project manager, Piurkowski will contribute to Berghammer’s project management operations across its portfolio.
The addition comes as Berghammer continues serving commercial and institutional markets throughout the region. Its portfolio includes education, industrial and manufacturing, multifamily and mixed-use, civic and other project types.
Berghammer is headquartered in Butler, Wisconsin, with its operations supporting construction projects across the region.
Senior project managers play a central role in coordinating schedules, field operations, project teams and client requirements. Adding a manager with experience across multiple market sectors can strengthen a construction company’s ability to manage varied project demands.
Piurkowski’s combination of hands-on construction experience and project management knowledge gives Berghammer additional leadership capacity as it continues delivering projects across education, multifamily, industrial and other sectors.
