Burns & McDonnell has appointed Jon Dunham as mining sector lead for its Environmental Services Group to support environmental consulting and integrated project delivery for mining clients.
In his new role, Dunham will oversee efforts to expand Burns & McDonnell's environmental services for the mining sector while working with multidisciplinary teams supporting projects from planning through mine closure.
His responsibilities include helping mining clients address environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, water management, reclamation planning, and sustainable project development. The role also supports the firm's integrated delivery approach across the full mining project life cycle.

Dunham brings more than 25 years of experience serving mining companies on environmental and infrastructure projects.
His background includes mine reclamation, mine water treatment and management, environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, infrastructure development, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project delivery.
The appointment adds leadership expertise to Burns & McDonnell's mining practice as the firm continues supporting mining owners with environmental planning and project execution.
