CAM Names 2026 Chair, New Board Members

The Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) has announced new leadership for 2026, naming Michael P. Joseph as chairman and welcoming three new members to its board of directors during the organization’s annual meeting on Feb. 3 at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace in Novi.

Joseph, who serves as principal and executive vice president at DeMaria in Novi, was formally installed as chairman, according to a CAM press release.

Leadership Transition for 2026 Board

The association also introduced its newest directors for the year:

  • Heather J. Obrecht White, senior vice president of Auger Klein; Aller Architects, Rochester
  • Brian G. Parvin, vice president of Custom Architectural Sheet Metal Specialists, Inc. (CASS), Detroit
  • Ross B. Winiemko, project manager at Curtis Glass Company, Troy

Each year CAM rotates its leadership to ensure fresh perspectives, the organization explained.

“Each year, three directors retire from the 12-member board and three new directors are elected by the membership,” according to the press release.

In addition to the new appointments, Timothy C. Baker of Baker Construction and Patrick V. Bell of Ideal Contracting were elevated to vice-chair positions, while Nicole M. Csont-Schram of Blaze Contracting will serve as incoming treasurer.

Veteran Members Continue Service

Several experienced industry leaders will continue their roles on the board, providing continuity as the organization enters a new year. Current directors include:

  • Jelane M. Cashero-Raycraft, Grunwell-Cashero Company
  • Elmer H. Dixon, Dixon, Inc.
  • Randal B. Pagel, Bumler Mechanical
  • Tom G. Thompson, R.S. Dale Co., Inc.
  • Milford E. “Ted” Woodbeck, Overhead Conveyor Company

These members represent a broad cross-section of Michigan’s construction sector, from mechanical contracting to specialty trades and engineering services.
