Growing infrastructure demand across Oklahoma is driving contractors to expand regional capabilities through acquisitions and new production assets. Construction Partners Inc. has completed the acquisition of Ellsworth Construction LLC, strengthening its civil infrastructure operations in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City metropolitan areas.
The transaction adds asphalt production capacity, construction crews, and site development capabilities to Construction Partners' existing Oklahoma operations while broadening its reach in two of the state's largest construction markets.
Ellsworth Construction provides asphalt manufacturing, paving, sitework, and utility construction services for public and private infrastructure projects throughout the Tulsa and Oklahoma City regions.
Its operations include a hot-mix asphalt plant in Broken Arrow and a permitted asphalt plant site in the greater Oklahoma City area. Following the acquisition, Ellsworth will continue operating as a branded division of Overland Corporation, Construction Partners' Oklahoma platform company.
The acquired business has also participated in multiple data center construction projects, adding experience in a market segment experiencing continued investment.
The acquisition increases Construction Partners' operational footprint in Oklahoma by adding experienced personnel and strategically located production facilities.
Construction Partners operates a vertically integrated business model that combines asphalt manufacturing, aggregates, and construction services to support transportation and site development projects across the Sunbelt. The company primarily serves publicly funded infrastructure work, including highways, local roads, airport runways, and bridges, while also performing private-sector paving and sitework projects.
Demand for roadway improvements, utility infrastructure, industrial development, and data center construction continues to create opportunities for regional civil contractors. For construction owners and public agencies, expanded local production capacity and additional construction resources can improve project delivery capabilities across Oklahoma's growing metropolitan markets while strengthening competition for future infrastructure contracts.
