Flournoy Begins Development of Multifamily Project in Florida

Flournoy Development Group, in collaboration with JR West, has officially broken ground on the highly anticipated Ellison Nona project, located in the sought-after Lake Nona submarket of Orlando, Florida. Covering an expansive 14.2 acres, the development will feature 377 residences, including one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. The design has been carefully crafted to cater to a variety of lifestyle preferences, ensuring that residents have a place that suits their needs, whether they are looking for a spacious family home or a cozy apartment.
This Class A community aims to provide a "distinguished" living experience, offering an array of amenities designed to enhance the comfort and convenience of its residents. The centerpiece of the community’s amenities is the clubhouse, which will house a state-of-the-art fitness center, a virtual golf simulator, a dedicated yoga and spin studio, as well as a pool that overlooks the serene Lake Whippoorwill.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the wide range of outdoor amenities available, including a pickleball court, a dog park, a grilling pavilion, and a selection of lakefront docks, perfect for enjoying the natural beauty of the area. The area is also conveniently located near the Brightline high-speed rail system at the airport, which provides direct links to key destinations such as Miami, West Palm Beach, and even future expansions to popular tourist spots like Walt Disney World.
The project team for Ellison Nona consists of Forum Architecture & Interior Design, responsible for the project's architectural vision, and FaverGray, which will serve as the contractor. Kimley-Horn has been appointed as the civil engineer for the project. In addition, Flournoy Properties Group will be overseeing the management of the community once completed.
