Construction of a new manufacturing facility in central Indiana is driving workforce expansion as Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI) begins recruiting employees to support production and electrical operations. The hiring initiative reflects continued investment in manufacturing capacity and skilled labor tied to industrial development in the region.

FTI will hold a career hiring event on July 28 and 29 to fill a range of positions associated with its new facility in Pittsboro.

Workforce Expansion Plans

The recruitment effort targets skilled manufacturing and electrical professionals, including electricians, electrical apprentices, electrical foremen, technicians, logistics personnel and entry-level workers. Most successful applicants will be assigned to FTI's new 500,000-square-foot manufacturing plant located within Opus' Pittsboro Commerce Center.

The company has indicated that the facility is expected to support approximately 200 new full-time positions as operations expand.

Manufacturing Facility Development

The Pittsboro Commerce Center is a 170-acre industrial development planned by Opus near the Interstate 74 and County Road 275 East interchange. FTI purchased a 47-acre site within the development for its manufacturing operation.

Site development work includes grading, roadway access and utility infrastructure. FTI is serving as the general contractor for its manufacturing building, which is the first facility being constructed within the industrial park.

Why It Matters

Industrial manufacturing projects continue to generate demand for skilled craft labor alongside construction activity. For contractors, developers and construction owners, workforce recruitment remains a critical component of project delivery and long-term facility operations. The Pittsboro expansion highlights how new industrial developments can support both construction employment and permanent manufacturing jobs as regional production capacity grows.
