The 2025 Construction Startup Competition has named its newest champions, spotlighting the world’s most innovative companies transforming the future of the construction industry through AI, robotics, and sustainability.
Now in its ninth year, the global competition drew an impressive 550+ applications from 54 countries, marking the second-highest participation in its history. The event continues to establish itself as one of the most influential platforms connecting emerging startups with global construction leaders.

Organized by industry giants including Cemex Ventures, Caterpillar, Dysruptek by Haskell, Ferrovial, Hilti, Leonard by Vinci, NOVA by Saint-Gobain, Trimble, and Zacua Ventures, the competition focuses on identifying and accelerating startups driving technological and sustainable innovation.
Entries were divided into four focus areas central to construction’s evolving challenges:
The 13 winning startups of 2025 represent the most cutting-edge ideas in these categories:
Ailytics (Singapore), AItenders (France), Alithic (US), All3 (UK), BuildCheck AI (US), Birdsview (Norway), Enlaye (US), IRIDESENSE (France), Gravis Robotics (Switzerland), Hyperion Robotics (Finland), Kapture (Australia), Navlive (UK), and Taiyō.AI (US).
Eight of the winning startups will take center stage at the Trimble Dimensions User Conference in Las Vegas on November 11, 2025, presenting their technologies to a panel of construction executives, investors, and technology experts.
Meanwhile, the remaining five startups will showcase their innovations at the Recotech Conference in Helsinki on November 18, during a newly introduced European Pitch Day — highlighting the competition’s growing global footprint.
At the Las Vegas event, participants will compete for gold, silver, and bronze awards, with cash prizes and new partnership opportunities on the line. The winners will also gain access to mentorship and collaboration programs with leading global contractors and technology providers.
Since its inception, the Construction Startup Competition has helped emerging firms gain visibility and access to resources needed to scale their solutions globally. The competition has become a launchpad for companies tackling some of the construction industry’s toughest challenges — from carbon reduction to supply chain transparency and AI-driven productivity.
Organizers say this year’s record-breaking diversity of entries underscores a shared commitment to sustainability, innovation, and efficiency in construction. By uniting startups with major industry players, the competition helps accelerate technology adoption in an industry long known for slow innovation cycles.
“The competition continues to serve as a bridge between startups and corporations seeking to collaborate on transforming how we design, build, and manage projects,” a Cemex Ventures spokesperson said.
As the 2025 Pitch Days unfold in Las Vegas and Helsinki, the event will showcase not only cutting-edge technologies but also the future leaders shaping global construction. From AI-powered jobsite management tools to robotics-driven concrete systems and carbon-neutral materials, the winning startups embody the bold vision needed to redefine construction in the decade ahead.
By fostering global collaboration and highlighting emerging technologies, the Construction Startup Competition reinforces one message: the future of building is digital, data-driven, and increasingly sustainable.
