MICHIGAN — Granger Construction recognized employees and project teams across multiple categories during its 2026 annual awards celebration, highlighting achievements in safety, project performance, mentorship, leadership and customer experience.
Granger's 2026 awards recognized employees across office and field operations. Kaley Brenizer and Brad Krueger received Core Values Awards, while Mason Kopchia, Jackson Frederick, Kurt Kerjes, Michael Williams and other employees received Outstanding Performance Awards across project and corporate functions.
The company also recognized Jim Johnson, Becky O'Callaghan and Kyle Oberdorf for mentorship. The awards acknowledge employees who support professional development, leadership and training within the organization.
Additional individual honors included the Horizon Builders Award, Value Beyond Belief Award and Alton L. Granger Chairman's Award. Dan German and John Bort received Horizon Builders recognition, Mark Butler received the Value Beyond Belief Award, and Bill Bofysil and Bob Brownell received Chairman's Awards.
Granger also recognized project teams for safety and project execution. Frank Morreale received the 2026 team member Safety Award, while teams from the Kent County Waste to Energy and Sheetz Distribution Facility projects received project safety awards.
The GRIT Project Award went to the Trinity Health Livingston team. The award recognizes project teams that demonstrate perseverance and continued diligence when addressing complex challenges.
Four projects received Project Performance Awards. The projects were divided between those valued below and above $10 million. Corewell Health HDVCH 10th Floor Renovation and Coshocton County Skip's Landing were recognized in the under-$10 million category. MSU Student Recreation and Wellness Facility and FSU Stadium Hall received awards in the over-$10 million category.
Recognition programs can highlight the construction practices and team performance that contractors prioritize across their operations. Granger's 2026 awards span project delivery, safety, customer experience, mentorship and workforce development, providing a broad view of the performance areas the contractor emphasizes.
The project awards also showcase work across health care, recreation, distribution and other construction sectors, while the individual awards recognize contributions from both field and corporate personnel.
