The recognition highlights the company's ongoing investment in workforce development through its Future Leaders Program.
Johnson Controls welcomed 160 interns this year after receiving nearly 12,000 applications from across North America.
Participants are assigned to 27 locations and work across 18 disciplines, including engineering, software development, information technology, finance, legal and communications. The internship program combines practical project assignments with mentorship and cross-functional collaboration to help participants gain experience in business and technical operations.
The Future Leaders Program is designed to provide exposure to real-world challenges while preparing students for long-term careers within the company and the broader building technology industry.
Johnson Controls develops products and systems used in commercial buildings and critical infrastructure, including HVAC, fire protection, building automation, security and energy management technologies.
The internship program supports recruitment and development of professionals who will contribute to future building systems, infrastructure modernization and technology innovation.
