EAGAN, Minn., Sept. 21, 2026 – Evergreen Holdings Corporation has named Josh Bone as its first chief strategy officer (CSO), a newly created role central to the company's ambition to more than triple revenue in the range of $4 to $5 billion over the next five years. Bone brings an unmatched depth of relationships across the electrical industry along with a proven ability to translate market intelligence into strategic opportunity.
Bone's appointment comes as Evergreen Holdings accelerates its strategy to evaluate markets, pursue organic and inorganic growth, and expand its collective capabilities. As CSO, Bone will lead strategic planning, evaluate growth opportunities and guide market strategy for Evergreen Holdings and its member companies including Hunt Electric, Baer Manufacturing and Modular Power & Data (MPD).
His work will be key to the organization’s goal of adding six to eight member companies over the next three to five years, deepening Evergreen Holdings' vertical integration and broadening its presence across various construction markets. Additionally, the CSO role will work directly with member companies to assess current market positions, identify future opportunity and unlock growth that individual companies might not capture on their own.
The electrical construction industry is experiencing unprecedented demand driven by data center expansion, energy transition, manufacturing reshoring and infrastructure investment, all creating a generational opportunity for companies positioned to scale. Evergreen Holdings intends to be one of them.
"Evergreen Holdings is growing, and with that growth comes a responsibility to make the right decisions," said John Axelson, chief executive officer, Evergreen Holdings. "Josh brings something rare: a view of the electrical industry that is wide, deep and genuinely forward-looking. His network and industry insights are unmatched. But more than that, Josh understands what is possible in this industry and has the knowledge and relationships to help us pursue it. He fits our Better Together mentality perfectly, and that matters as much to us as anything on a resume."
"After six incredible years leading ELECTRI International, I'm excited to take the next step in my career by joining Evergreen Holdings,” said Bone. “I've long admired the work of John Axelson and the team at Hunt Electric and the electrical contracting companies they have added over the years. I couldn't be more thrilled to join the team being built at Evergreen Holdings.
Bone continued, "This industry has given me so much and working on the electrical contracting side of the business has always been a dream of mine, and Evergreen Holdings is the right team to build that dream with. While the electrical industry is evolving faster than ever, I believe we're positioned to help lead it."
Bone will continue to serve as Executive Director of ELECTRI International through the conclusion of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) 2026 Convention & Trade Show in Las Vegas before officially joining Evergreen Holdings on Nov. 16, 2026.
Evergreen Holdings, proudly employee-owned and established in December 2024, comprises member companies that independently and collectively deliver exceptional construction solutions. Hunt Electric's growth from a $320 million business to a $1.1 billion company over the last 10 years demonstrates the power of that model and is the foundation Evergreen Holdings is building on – with greater reach, greater depth and a long-term mindset that measures success in decades, not quarters.
Membership in Evergreen Holdings means more than shared ownership: it means access to capital, strategic expertise and a collective intelligence built across every market the organization serves. Member companies operate independently, with their own identities, cultures and leadership intact. What changes is what is available to them: deeper resources, broader relationships and a platform built for the long term. For companies built on employee ownership, that structure also matters. Evergreen Holdings is designed to protect and extend that model for future generations, not replace it. Each member company operates with the focus of an independent business and the market insight of an organization many times its size.
