LCPtracker Enhances WH-347 Form in LCPtracker Pro to Support Federal Payroll Compliance

ORANGE, Calif., June 17, 2025 – LCPtracker, Inc., a leading software provider for labor compliance and workforce reporting, has announced the release of a comprehensive update to the WH-347 form within its flagship product, LCPtracker Pro. This update integrates the latest certified payroll reporting standards mandated by the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL), which took effect earlier this year.

The revised WH-347 form supports contractors and agencies working on federally funded projects, allowing them to begin transitioning to the new requirements while minimizing errors and ensuring greater transparency in payroll reporting.

"Our goal has consistently been to address market demands and make the reporting process as smooth as possible for our users and clients," said Mark Douglas, CEO of LCPtracker, Inc. "This update to LCPtracker Pro will allow our users to effectively comply with the latest federal standards – while continuing to experience the benefits of enhanced accuracy and reduced risk of reporting errors."

Dual Form Support During Transition

To support compliance flexibility, LCPtracker Pro will host both the updated and legacy WH-347 forms during the USDOL’s transition period, which allows use of either version through January 31, 2028. Many federal primes and awarding bodies have already shifted to the new form, making early adoption critical for contractors aiming to stay compliant.

Major Enhancements to the WH-347 Form

The latest updates are aimed at making payroll reporting more complete, transparent, and user-friendly. Key improvements include:

  • Improved Worker Classification:
Users can now indicate if an employee is a journeyworker or a registered apprentice directly on the form, streamlining compliance with labor categorization rules.
  • Detailed Fringe Benefit Reporting:
Contractors can list fringe benefit plan types, plan numbers, and specific hourly credit values, with distinctions for funded vs. unfunded benefits. Added fields for total fringe credit and payments in lieu of benefits provide increased visibility.
  • Enhanced Wage Transparency:
The update enables reporting of gross wages and net pay across all work types, giving a clearer picture of employee compensation.
  • Modernized Statement of Compliance (SOC):
The redesigned SOC now includes more precise certification requirements and fields for contact details, improving accessibility for audits or follow-up.
  • Apprenticeship Compliance:
New dedicated fields allow users to report apprenticeship program information, including classification, type of registration (state or federal), and related documentation as required by the USDOL.
  • Refreshed Visual Design:
The layout of the digital form in LCPtracker Pro mirrors the updated federal format, enhancing readability and user experience.

These updates are now live in LCPtracker Pro. Organizations can begin integrating the new form into their workflow immediately to stay ahead of compliance expectations.
