A multi-level bathroom renovation at Vassar College was completed ahead of the fall semester, marking the first construction management project between the college and LeChase Construction Services.
The Noyes Hall renovation was delivered by LeChase’s NY Metro team during a condensed summer construction schedule. The project required coordination with Vassar and trade partners to keep work progressing while meeting the college’s deadline for students returning to campus.
The renovation involved multiple levels of bathrooms within Vassar College’s Noyes Hall. With the work scheduled during the summer break, the project team coordinated construction activities around the college’s academic calendar.
LeChase worked with trade partners to address issues as they emerged and maintain progress throughout the project. The company’s self-perform team also supported the work by resolving layout and coordination challenges during construction.
The team provided additional labor hours when necessary to help maintain the project schedule and complete the renovation before the fall semester began.
The Noyes Hall renovation represents LeChase’s first construction management project for Vassar College. The company has also provided preconstruction services for other projects on the campus.
The completed renovation adds to LeChase’s higher education project experience while establishing a construction management relationship with Vassar College.
The project team also held an end-of-summer lunch for subcontractors and tradespeople involved in the renovation, recognizing their contribution to completing the work within the summer schedule.
Renovations on active college campuses require construction teams to coordinate closely with facility operations and academic schedules.
