ELECTRI International is transitioning its executive leadership, with Jessica Cardenas moving into the executive director position as Josh Bone departs for a strategy role at Evergreen Holdings Corporation.

ELECTRI Leadership Transition

The transition was announced Sept. 15 by the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), which oversees ELECTRI International. Bone had served as ELECTRI’s executive director and is moving to Evergreen Holdings Corporation as chief strategy officer.

During Bone’s tenure, ELECTRI expanded its work across emerging technologies, workforce development, productivity, leadership and business issues affecting electrical contractors. His responsibilities also included strengthening connections between ELECTRI research and NECA contractor resources.

Cardenas has served as deputy executive director and has worked on research initiatives, contractor engagement and the organization’s day-to-day operations.

Research and Contractor Resources

ELECTRI International conducts research and develops resources intended to address issues affecting electrical contractors. Its work covers areas including construction technology, workforce development, productivity and business practices.

Under the leadership transition, Cardenas will take responsibility for continuing the organization’s research activities and contractor-focused resources. Her previous role involved working with Bone on ELECTRI initiatives and organizational operations.
