Northside Hospital Breaks Ground on Milton Outpatient Center

Caroline Raffetto

MILTON, Ga. — Northside Hospital has officially broken ground on a new 5,278-square-foot medical outpatient building in Milton, Georgia, marking the latest expansion in the hospital system’s ongoing efforts to enhance community-based healthcare access.

The facility — expected to open in the first quarter of 2026 — will replace Northside’s existing primary care center located just across the street.

A Modernized Home for Primary Care

According to Stonemont Financial Group of Atlanta, the project’s developer, the new building will provide an upgraded, patient-focused environment designed to improve the efficiency and quality of care delivery.

While the existing Milton location has served the community for years, the upcoming facility will introduce:

  • Modern exam rooms and consultation spaces
  • A streamlined patient flow for quicker visits
  • Enhanced accessibility and parking for patients
  • Infrastructure ready for future telehealth integration

Design and Construction Partners

The project is led by May Architecture of Atlanta as the design firm, bringing healthcare-focused design expertise to the new center. Structor Group, also based in Atlanta, is serving as the general contractor, ensuring the facility meets medical construction standards while staying on schedule.

A Strategic Investment in Milton’s Healthcare

Northside Hospital’s decision to build a new outpatient facility in Milton reflects both the area’s rapid population growth and the rising demand for accessible, high-quality healthcare close to home.

The hospital system has been strategically expanding its primary care network to serve patients in suburban and exurban areas, reducing the need for residents to travel long distances for medical services.

Community Impact and Long-Term Vision

By 2026, the Milton outpatient facility will stand as part of a broader Northside Hospital initiative to modernize its community care footprint. With its prime location and upgraded capabilities, it will:

  • Reduce patient wait times
  • Expand service offerings over time
  • Support preventive care and chronic disease management
  • Serve as a hub for referrals to Northside’s specialty care network

"This project represents an important step toward meeting the evolving healthcare needs of the Milton community," said a spokesperson for Stonemont Financial Group. "With a design that prioritizes patient comfort and operational efficiency, the new facility will be a valuable addition to the area."

The facility’s construction is currently on track, with site preparation and foundation work underway. Once complete, the center will join Northside Hospital’s growing list of outpatient locations across metro Atlanta — reinforcing the system’s role as a leader in accessible, high-quality care.
