Turner Construction has completed two new premium hospitality spaces at Reliant Stadium in Houston, expanding the venue’s high-end offerings for Houston Texans fans and other event attendees.
The completed spaces, the BMW Lone Star Ballroom and BMW M Club Blue, are designed to bring guests closer to the field while providing private hospitality amenities and enhanced viewing experiences.
The BMW Lone Star Ballroom and BMW M Club Blue offer guests exclusive access and hospitality features within the stadium.
The spaces include field access, a collection of Houston Texans memorabilia presented as a “museum of moments,” and all-inclusive food and beverage amenities. BMW M Club Blue incorporates a speakeasy-inspired design intended to create a distinct environment within the stadium.
The new areas provide additional premium spaces for fans while integrating hospitality functions into an active sports and entertainment venue.
Completing the project required construction activities to continue while Reliant Stadium remained operational. The Turner team coordinated work around the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, FIFA activities, concerts and other scheduled events.
The active venue environment required construction sequencing to remain flexible as event schedules and project requirements changed. Scope adjustments and procurement challenges also added complexity to the final stages of the work.
Turner used close coordination and flexible sequencing to maintain progress while adapting construction activities around stadium operations.
Quick decision-making and coordination among project stakeholders helped the team accelerate the final buildout of the hospitality spaces.
The completed areas were delivered ready for game-day operations, allowing the venue to add the new premium experiences without requiring an extended disruption to its broader event schedule.
Renovating active sports and entertainment venues requires construction teams to balance project execution with ongoing public operations. Event calendars can limit work windows and require construction activities to be sequenced around major gatherings.
