GreenPointe Holdings, a diversified holding company, has officially broken ground on TurnLeaf, a master-planned community designed to offer modern living experiences along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
The ceremony was attended by key figures from Greenpoint Holdings, along with the development team including Barraco and Associates for civil design engineering, Lee Mar Building and Construction for civil and site work, and Gulf Coast Utility Contractors for underground utilities.
Located on a 426-acre site west of Interstate 75 and US 41 along Burnt Store Road in Charlotte County, TurnLeaf will feature around 1,735 single-family homes, each offering a range of design options to suit modern lifestyles.

“We are excited to break ground on TurnLeaf, a community just minutes from the expansive beaches of the Gulf [Coast],” said Jim McGowan, regional president of GreenPointe Southwest division. “At GreenPointe, we pride ourselves on crafting amenity-rich lifestyle communities, and TurnLeaf is a shining example of that commitment. With its unparalleled location, new homes from premier builders, and an impressive array of recreational amenities, TurnLeaf is poised to redefine South Florida resort living.”
The new development will include both one- and two-story single-family homes. Additionally, an active adult community is planned as part of the development, catering to a variety of age groups.
Key amenities will feature a 5,500 square-foot Amenity Center, complete with a swimming pool, a modern fitness center, pickleball courts, a yoga lawn, and outdoor dining and social spaces for residents to enjoy.
This community's prime location provides residents easy access to the best of Southwest Florida’s entertainment, shopping, dining, and recreational offerings, making it a desirable destination for future homeowners.
Model home construction at TurnLeaf will begin soon, with more details on new homebuilders expected to be revealed shortly.
As TurnLeaf continues to evolve, it is set to become one of the most sought-after locations in Florida’s Gulf Coast. GreenPointe Holdings' vision of a community blending modern living with luxury amenities is on track to transform the region's housing landscape.
