A Hole in One for Charity: Do it Best Foundation Swings into Fundraising History

On June 10th, under clear skies and a spirit of giving, the Do it Best Foundation shattered fundraising records at its legendary fourth annual Fore the Cause charity golf tournament. Held across four of the Midwest's most prestigious courses, the event culminated in a monumental achievement: over $1,031,000 raised to support vital health and wellness initiatives and youth enrichment programs.  This astounding figure not only surpassed the previous year's total but soared by an impressive 54%, solidifying Fore the Cause as a powerhouse for positive change.

Born from the vision of Do it Best, the international home improvement cooperative headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the Do it Best Foundation embodies the company's commitment to building strong communities. Established in 2019, the foundation has become a beacon of hope, attracting nearly 500 participants to this year's tournament. The energy crackled as golfers, sponsors, and supporters from across the country converged on Fort Wayne, united by a passion for philanthropy and a love for the game.

Leading the charge was Nick Talarico, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Do it Best and president of the foundation.  His infectious enthusiasm captured the essence of the day: "This event is a testament to the power of collective action.
