
Top apprentices competed for honors in annual competition that showcases adept skillset of developing trade professionals in the state
LAS VEGAS (Dec. 18, 2025) – ABC Nevada, a statewide construction trade association dedicated to promoting free enterprise in construction, held its annual Electrical Craft Championships, an event where ABC Nevada apprentices compete to construct electrical systems from technical drawings under realistic, timed conditions. Apprentices competed for top honors and were judged on safety, quality and speed. The event celebrated their technical growth and the bright future of Nevada’s skilled workforce.
“Each year, our apprentices put their training to the test in this Electrical Craft Championship, demonstrating the safety, precision and technical skill that the construction industry requires,” said Kara Arenas, Vice President of Associated Builders and Contractors of Nevada. “The talent and focus on display reflect the strength of our apprentice program. We are cultivating the next generation of Nevada’s craft professionals and by mastering these skills under pressure, our apprentices prove they are ready to meet the highest industry standards. We’re so proud of every competitor that stepped up to challenge themselves and represent the future of our industry.”
