AMECO Solar & Roofing Named a 2026 Top Solar Contractor by Solar Power World

AMECO Solar & Roofing has been recognizedon the 2026 Top Solar Contractors List, the annual industry ranking publishedby Solar Power World.

This year's list marks the program's 15thanniversary and spotlights solar companies helping shape the future of cleanenergy across the United States. AMECO is among the installers honored for thework they continue to do in communities throughout California.

The United States recently passed 6million solar installations, and solar remains one of the country’s leadingsources of new electricity generation. The milestone also reflects howestablished the industry has become. More than 72% of companies on this year’slist have worked in solar for at least 10 years, while 58% have more than 15years of experience across solar, energy storage, and construction. AMECO Solar& Roofing has spent more than five decades serving California homeowners,installing over 7,000 solar systems statewide.

The 2026 Top Solar Contractors List alsohighlighted continued growth in the residential solar market. Residentialinstallers represented a larger share of this year's rankings than ever before,while the installer category grew by 10% compared to last year, reflectingcontinued demand for experienced local contractors.

Companies are ranked based on the amountof solar capacity they installed in 2025, with additional recognition byservice category, market segment, and state. In 2025, AMECO Solar & Roofinginstalled 4,479.98 kWDC of solar capacity.
