Terranova, Esq. as Head of Claims for North America, a strategic leadership role aimed at enhancing the company’s client services and advancing its claims advocacy capabilities. This move reflects American Global’s sustained growth and continued investment in its core mission of delivering top-tier claims support for clients in the construction and insurance sectors.
With nearly 20 years of experience in legal practice and claims management, Anthony brings an extensive background in construction law, complex claims resolution, and strategic risk oversight. In his new role, Anthony will lead American Global’s North American claims operations, overseeing a growing team of technical claims advocates while steering strategic initiatives that leverage cutting-edge technology and advanced analytics.

Anthony’s responsibilities will include managing high-value, high-complexity claims and ensuring that American Global clients receive responsive, results-driven support. A central focus of his leadership will be integrating claims services with digital systems to deliver real-time insights and improved outcomes. He will work closely with American Global’s technology teams to build and refine platforms that allow for more efficient reporting, smarter analytics, and better decision-making support for clients.

Prior to joining American Global, Anthony served as Head of Commercial Casualty Claims – North America for a major international insurer and reinsurer. In that role, he managed claims strategy across construction and specialty business lines, navigating complex claims landscapes and supporting clients through challenging litigation and risk scenarios.
A licensed attorney in New York, New Jersey, and multiple federal courts throughout the Northeast, Anthony earned his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hofstra University. He also maintains casualty adjuster licenses in several states and has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Construction. Anthony is a frequent speaker at national industry events, where he shares insights on emerging legal trends, claims resolution strategies, and risk innovation.
