Capstone Building Corp. Begins Construction on $45.1 Million Multifamily Apartment Development in Arkansas

Birmingham, Ala. – Capstone Building Corp., a premier multifamily general contractor headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, has officially begun construction on The Emerald, a $45.1 Million multifamily apartment developmentlocated in Centerton, Arkansas. The project marks Capstone Building Corp.’s continued growth across the country as the company brings its multifamily construction expertise to the growing Northwest Arkansas region.

Located at the intersection of E. Centerton Boulevard and Womack Road, The Emerald will encompass 312,414 square feet and feature 256 units across nine residential buildings, along with a dedicated clubhouse. Capstone Building Corp. is serving as the general contractor, with The Kalikow Group and EYC Companies serving as developers. S. Robert Andron, AIA, is the project architect and Chris Bakunas is the civil engineer.

Designed to offer residents a combination of elevated finishes and community-focused amenities, the development will feature a resort-style pool, pickleball courts, fire pits and gathering areas, and retail areas integrated within the apartment buildings. Interior residences will include luxury vinyl tile flooring, tiled kitchen backsplashes, tile tub and shower surrounds, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.

Completion is anticipated for Summer 2028. This is Capstone Building Corp.’s third project with The Kalikow Group.
