LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Catamount Constructors, Inc., a 100% employee-owned ENR Top 400 Contractor, has strengthened its leadership bench with the return of industry veteran Jeffrey Pfeifer as National Director, Healthcare.
A returning employee-owner, Pfeifer brings decades of specialized experience managing healthcare construction projects nationwide — from acute care hospitals to high-tech surgical centers and complex renovations in occupied facilities. His portfolio spans acute care, ambulatory surgery, imaging centers, emergency departments, radiology suites, bone marrow transplant units, fertility clinics and infusion centers — work that demands both technical precision and strict regulatory compliance.

“Jeff brings an incredible depth of healthcare knowledge and a drive that aligns seamlessly with Catamount’s culture of ownership and accountability,” said Tom Seaman, Co-CEO with Catamount. “His ability to lead complex projects is a testament to both his technical expertise and his collaborative spirit. We’re excited to have him back, where his synergy with our teams and customers will continue to elevate the success of our healthcare work nationwide.”
Catamount’s push into the healthcare sector comes at a time when demand for high-quality medical facilities is rising across the U.S., driven by the need for specialized care, outpatient centers, and state-of-the-art diagnostic spaces. Pfeifer’s return positions Catamount to deliver complex medical construction projects that meet the rigorous standards of modern healthcare delivery.
“We are excited to welcome Jeff back to the Catamount team as National Director, Healthcare,” said Andy Brown, Vice President of Operations with Catamount. “Jeff will leverage his tremendous leadership and technical expertise to support our preconstruction and operations teams as we continue growth in the healthcare sector across the country.”
Pfeifer’s current portfolio includes multiple active projects with a combined value of over $151 million. His leadership will guide Catamount’s teams in delivering projects like freestanding emergency departments, hybrid renovations, ground-up medical office buildings and other specialized healthcare environments — often while working within the constraints of active, occupied hospitals.
Backed by a strong academic foundation, Pfeifer holds a Master of Science in Building Construction Management from Michigan State University and both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Architecture from the University of Michigan. He has completed the Architectural Internship Development Program, is a LEED Accredited Professional, and holds a 30-Hour OSHA Certification — reflecting his unwavering commitment to safe, sustainable, and technically precise construction practices.
