DENVER, Colo - PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc. is proud to announce that Priscilla Chavez and Adrian Saldanha have been named to Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) 2025 list of Top Young Professionals. This prestigious honor recognizes individuals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, career progression, and community involvement in the construction industry.
Priscilla Chavez has earned a place on ENR’s National Top 20 Under 40 list after being previously featured on the West Region list. As a leader in business development for PCL’s Los Angeles region, Priscilla has played a pivotal role in building strong client relationships, advocating for underrepresented groups, and advancing diversity and inclusion efforts. Her leadership has impacted over 600 local residents, creating career opportunities and transforming lives.
A true pioneer in the industry, Priscilla was named a Top Woman in Construction by the Los Angeles Business Journal in 2019 and recognized as a Construction Champion by Construction Dive in 2023 for her mentorship. She has written insightful articles on sustainable construction, diversity and inclusion, and workforce development, including for the Journal of Construction Engineering and Management.
“I’m honored to be recognized as one of ENR's National Top Young Professionals and grateful for the chance to contribute to an industry shaping our communities,” said Chavez. “This recognition reflects my growth and the incredible teams and mentors I’ve worked with. I’m driven by a passion for fostering diversity, inclusion, and innovation, and I’m committed to delivering projects that blend business success with meaningful community impact.”
Adrian Saldanha, project manager for PCL’s Civil Infrastructure Division, has more than 15 years of experience in sectors like industrial, water, and wastewater infrastructure, overseeing over $1.5 billion in construction projects. Adrian has been named to the ENR Mountain States and Southwest list for his regional contributions. A Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional, his motto, “for the joy of the build,” captures his passion for creating impactful structures while enjoying the process.
“Being named a Top Young Professional is a tremendous honor, and I couldn’t have achieved it without the support and trust of my PCL team,” said Saldanha. “I truly enjoy construction and believe it can be rewarding despite its challenges. While the industry involves many technical and serious aspects, I’ve learned you can tackle important work and still have fun along the way.”
Beyond his professional success, Saldanha is dedicated to industry improvement and community involvement. He has contributed to the Construction Industry Institute’s Advanced Work Packaging committee and authored multiple standard operating procedures to streamline construction processes. His community engagement includes volunteer roles with Habitat for Humanity, the Phoenix Children’s Foundation, and the Architecture Construction Engineering Mentor Program. Saldanha has also made significant contributions as a communications chair and fundraising lead for the AZ Water Association, setting new standards for community outreach.
