CRG Expands Southwest Region Leadership with Addition of Michelle Weber as Vice President of Leasing & Management
Phoenix, AZ (April 2, 2024) — CRG, a prominent Chicago-based real estate development and investment management firm, announced that Michelle Weber has joined the company in the newly created position of vice president of leasing and management, bringing her extensive property management experience to support CRG’s existing and planned industrial asset development in the Southwest region. Weber, a seasoned professional who has leased and managed major properties in Phoenix since 1997, will be located in CRG’s Phoenix office.
In her new role with CRG, Weber’s responsibilities will include expanding tenant, broker, and industry partner relationships; directing regional marketing; assisting with leasing operations; and overseeing property management. Weber will support existing industrial speculative and build-to-suit projects at CRG’s two Phoenix-based master-planned industrial parks, The Cubes at Glendale and The Cubes at Mesa Gateway, and other new development opportunities throughout the Southwest region.
“Michelle’s exceptional track record in property management and her proactive client relations approach make her an invaluable addition to our team,” said Mark Sonnenberg, executive vice president and partner for the Southwest region at CRG. “It’s no secret how well Michelle is respected in the Phoenix real estate community. Her vast experience will be instrumental as CRG continues to broaden its portfolio and fortify its presence in the Phoneix market, a key area for our continued strategic growth.”
Prior to joining CRG, Weber served as the regional vice president with RiverRock Real Estate Group, an Irvine, Calif.-based property management firm. In that role, she quadrupled RiverRock’s Phoenix portfolio and staff in her first two years and successfully managed a diverse portfolio of 5 million square feet of institutional-quality assets. Before her time at RiverRock Real Estate Group, Weber managed 3 million square feet of industrial, back-office and Class-A office buildings for RREEF in Phoenix, a role that required extensive owner and tenant relations.
Her significant contributions to the industry were recognized when she was named a Woman of Influence by GlobeSt. in 2021. Weber is also a respected member of both BOMA and NAIOP. Weber also holds an Arizona Real Estate Broker’s License.
