Seasoned Engineering Executive to Lead EDT’s Growth and Innovation
COLUMBIA, S.C. — Engineering Design & Testing Corp. (EDT), a leading forensic engineering and consulting firm, has appointed Andy Siegfried, P.E., MBA, as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Siegfried brings nearly three decades of leadership experience in engineering, construction, and consulting, with a strong background in operational excellence, business growth, and technical innovation.
In his new role, Siegfried will drive EDT’s strategic vision, oversee business operations, and reinforce the company’s employee-owned culture. His expertise spans multiple industries, including oil and gas, renewable energy, and automation, positioning him well to expand EDT’s market presence and technical capabilities.
Leadership Vision and Industry Expertise

Prior to joining EDT, Siegfried held senior executive and founder-level positions at various engineering and construction firms. Over his career, he has led complex infrastructure projects worth up to $1 billion, delivering sustained growth and expanding service capabilities. Most recently, as Executive Vice President of EPCM Services at Whiteley Infrastructure Group, he revitalized the firm’s engineering division by broadening service offerings and strengthening client relationships.
