Emily Livorsi Named Chief People Officer at Catamount Constructors

Promotion Underscores Commitment to Employee Ownership, Leadership Development, and Strategic People-Centered Growth

LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Catamount Constructors, Inc., a 100% employee-owned ENR Top 400 general contractor, is proud to announce the advancement of Emily Livorsi to the role of Chief People Officer (CPO). This strategic promotion highlights Catamount’s ongoing investment in its people-first culture and the critical importance of leadership development in driving sustainable business growth.

Livorsi, who joined Catamount in 2022 as Vice President of People, has been a transformational force within the company. Her leadership has been central to strengthening Catamount’s leadership pipeline, enhancing employee-owner engagement, and aligning human capital strategies with organizational performance. Her promotion to Chief People Officer not only reflects her success but also the company’s commitment to cultivating an exceptional employee experience.

“Emily’s deep experience in organizational psychology, coaching, and leadership development has created an immersive and lasting impact on our team,” said James Benning, Catamount’s Co-CEO. “Her passion for helping employee-owners reach their full potential is perfectly aligned with our vision of being a best-in-class ESOP company. In her new role as CPO, Livorsi will oversee the full scope of Catamount’s people operations—from talent acquisition and HR strategy to organizational development, cultural initiatives, and DEI efforts. She also plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving the company's strategic plan initiatives, with a focus on fostering a resilient, innovative, and engaged employee-owner workforce.

“Catamount’s employee-owners are the heart of everything we do,” said Livorsi. “It’s a privilege to lead the People Team and support the growth and wellbeing of such a dedicated and passionate group of professionals. I look forward to building on our momentum and helping shape a future where our people continue to thrive.”

A scholar-practitioner in the field, Livorsi holds a PhD and a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Colorado State University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Latin American Studies from Rutgers University.
