F.H. Paschen and Princeton Technical Services Launch "Paschen x Princeton" to Address Texas Infrastructure Quality Gap

New joint venture merges F.H. Paschen’s expanding Texas footprint with Princeton Technical’s secialized quality oversight for aviation, transit, and healthcare projects
DALLAS and HOUSTON - National infrastructure builder F.H. Paschen and Princeton Technical Services today announced the formation of Paschen x Princeton, a strategic teaming partnership focused on delivering high-precision infrastructure projects all across growing markets in Texas. The joint venture targets the rapid growth in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. These growing markets are where the construction project pipeline for needed infrastructure is accelerating, which brings with it a less visible challenge: the risk that in the need for speed, the temptation emerges to overlook quality.
The collaboration combines Paschen’s 115-year legacy as a general contractor and dedicated Texas teams with offices in Irving, Houston and Galveston with Princeton’s specialized expertise in civil engineering, material testing, and construction inspection. Princeton is a certified MBE/DBE/ACDBE firm.
"F.H. Paschen’s footprint in Texas is expanding rapidly because the state's population growth is driving an urgent need for new infrastructure," said Bill Rocha, Vice President at F.H. Paschen and head of Texas operations for the company. "I have observed first-hand that in the rush to keep up with this demand, quality can never be an afterthought. We are bringing Princeton to Texas because their level of precision ensures that every project is built right.”
While the firms have partnered for years on complex projects in the Midwest, Paschen x Princeton represents a dedicated expansion into the Texas market. The team aims to apply Princeton’s deep experience on projects like O’Hare International Airport to the ongoing expansions at DFW and George Bush Intercontinental.
Similarly, their joint work for the Chicago Transit Authority will inform upcoming mass transit projects for DART and METRO in the largest Texas cities.
“We’re seeing soaring infrastructure demands across Texas that are characterized by larger, more complex projects with tighter timelines,” said Jim Blair, CEO of F.H. Paschen. “By combining our geographical reach and experience across Texas with Princeton’s specialized capabilities in quality and precision, this teaming promises to unlock real strategic value for project owners across the state.”
“This Pashen x Princeton teaming arrangement creates strategic value by merging F.H. Paschen’s massive construction scale with our surgical-level oversight, said Timothy Hughes, PMP, Founder and President of Princeton Technical Services. "By integrating our two distinct sets of capabilities, the new joint venture offers a unified solution that mitigates risk for Texas project owners through our ‘Joint Quality Framework’.”
The new Paschen x Princeton Joint Venture will focus on several key sectors across Texas:
- Aviation
- Mass Transit
- Municipal and Federal Work
- Education (K-12 and Higher Ed)
- Healthcare
- Heavy Civil
"Paschen x Princeton is the latest in a series of strategic partnerships that continue to drive our national expansion," said Tom Cross, Chief Growth Officer at F.H. Paschen. "We will continue to pursue growth through teaming whenever we find a partner that can help us deliver a measurable impact on complex infrastructure.”
Paschen x Princeton is actively hiring for two key roles in the Texas market to support its expanding project list.
