CHICAGO, IL - F.H. Paschen, a leader in national commercial construction and infrastructure, has officially been named the #137 overall largest contractor in America by Engineering News-Record (ENR) in its newly released 2026 Top 400 Contractors list. The ranking marks a steady two-spot increase from the firm’s #139 position on last year’s index, underscoring a trajectory of disciplined, continuous financial growth and national market expansion.

The annual ENR rankings serve as the definitive benchmark for the industry's top players. F.H. Paschen’s rising rank highlights its expanding delivery footprint across aviation, heavy civil, mass transit, bridges, education, water, and municipal infrastructure projects as well as growth in commercial work.

“Growth is hard-wired into F.H. Paschen's DNA, and climbing the ENR rankings year after year reflects that deep-rooted drive,” said James Blair, CEO of F.H. Paschen. “Moving up the list is a direct result of how our teams have evolved as the trusted, go-to partner for critical infrastructure projects, whether they are large-scale national developments or vital small-scale community initiatives.”

Complementing this climb, ENR also ranked F.H. Paschen at #78 on its Top 100 Contractors by New Contracts list. While revenue rankings quantify historical performance, new contracts act as a core indicator of immediate market trust and future backlog strength. The ranking highlights significant contract wins that secure the firm’s pipeline through 2026 and beyond.

F.H. Paschen continues to grow by leveraging innovative delivery methods, including design-build, construction management at-risk, and Job Order Contracting to meet the evolving demands of both public and private clients across the United States.
