F.H. Paschen Expands Texas K-12 Construction Portfolio with Dallas ISD Building and Campus Upgrades

Modern security vestibules, upgraded fire systems, and facility improvements head to three Dallas Independent School District campuses

DALLAS, TEXAS - National infrastructure builder F.H. Paschen is expanding its K-12 education footprint in Texas, advancing facility modernizations and safety upgrades across the Dallas Independent School District through three campus projects. Dallas ISD ranks as the second-largest public school district in Texas and among the 20 largest nationwide, serving more than 140,000 students.

Supporting the district’s capital program, F.H. Paschen is delivering standardized security building upgrades. These include dual-door secure vestibules with intercoms and cameras, along with code-compliant fire alarms integrated with keyless access and visitor tracking.

"Building secure school entrances is rewarding work," said Brooke Moore, Business Development Manager for F.H. Paschen Southwest. "Nobody wants to think about worst-case scenarios, but upgrading these entryways is essential. We specialize in working inside active buildings so educators can stay focused on teaching."

At Frank Guzick Elementary School in Northeast Dallas' Buckner Terrace neighborhood, F.H. Paschen is installing a new, secure vestibule and an updated fire alarm system for the pre-K through fifth-grade campus. Crews are coordinating around daily classes, with completion set for early 2027.

"Construction is a team effort," said Garrett Houghton, Project Manager at F.H. Paschen. "The progress on these campuses is a direct reflection of our close collaboration with Dallas ISD staff and the skilled local trade contractors working alongside us every day."

In West Dallas, crews are mobilizing this fall for a modernization of the Dallas ISD Resource Center West, located inside the Dr. Elba and Domingo Garcia West Dallas STEM School. Work includes mechanical systems, fire protection, interior finishes, and commercial kitchen facilities. The site serves as a community hub providing free groceries, wellness programs, and laundry facilities for local families.

Later this year, F.H. Paschen will begin work at George B. Dealey Montessori Academy in North Dallas, delivering another secure vestibule, modernized fire alarms, and HVAC replacements.

In 2026, F.H. Paschen launched Paschen x Princeton, a joint venture with Princeton Technical Services focused on infrastructure delivery across Texas.
