F.H. Paschen Supports Dallas Students as Firm Grows Its Texas K-12 Construction Portfolio

Partnership at annual event highlights builder’s growing K-12 education construction presence in Texas

DALLAS, TEXAS - National infrastructure builder F.H. Paschen joined Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson and community leaders at Fair Park for the 30th Annual Mayor’s Back to School Fair this month. The event served more than 13,000 registered Dallas Independent School District students and 5,600 families as they prepared for the 2026-2027 school year. The annual event provides essential resources to local families, including backpacks, school supplies, health screenings, and immunizations.

Dallas ISD ranks as the second-largest public school district in Texas and among the 20 largest nationwide, serving more than 140,000 students.

Instead of traditional giveaways, F.H. Paschen brought a live building challenge directly onto the fair. Company volunteers engaged students in hands-on engineering activities, challenging participants to construct sturdy bridges and towers using toothpicks and marshmallows. Several participants received Amazon gift cards for their creative structural designs.

"We spend a lot of time talking about what we’re building in Dallas and across Texas," said Brooke Moore, Business Development Manager for F.H. Paschen Southwest. "At Mayor Johnson’s Back-To-School Fair, we were able to spend some time focused on who we’re building Texas for."

The community outreach connects directly to F.H. Paschen’s active project work across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. F.H. Paschen currently manages campus modernization and upgrade construction projects for Dallas Independent School District (Dallas ISD), including interior renovations, security vestibules, and fire alarm upgrades at schools across the district.

"Meeting these students and families puts a face on the work we do every day," Moore added. "Seeing their enthusiasm for building reminds us why delivering safe, high-quality school facilities matters so much."

With offices in Irving, Houston and Galveston F.H. Paschen continues to expand its K-12 educational construction services across Texas.
