The 12,000-square-footcenter will strengtheninfrastructure and storm resiliency in one of Florida’s fastest-growing regions

(Cape Coral,FL) – GCM Contracting Solutions haspartnered with LCEC to develop a new West Cape Coral Service Center, which willmeet the needs of rapid population growth and increasing demand for reliableutility infrastructure across Southwest Florida.

Cape Coral isone of Florida’s fastest-growing cities, with anestimated population of 228,000 and projections to reach 375,000 residents by2050. The city has been growing at a rate of nearly 7 percent annually, ranking amongthe fastest-growing municipalities in the United States with populations over100,000, according to U.S. Census data.

Located at 3251SW 20th Avenue in Cape Coral, the new 12,000-square-foot, two-story West CapeCoral Service Center is being developed to improve response times, enhanceoperational efficiency, and strengthen storm restoration capabilities acrossLCEC service territory.

The facilitywill include administrative offices, lineworker support spaces, warehouseoperations, system operations areas, conference and break roms, and essentialinfrastructure such as a UPS room.
