WAYNE, N.J. — Haydon Corporation, a U.S.-owned and -operated manufacturer of rooftop support and framing systems, has announced a significant enhancement to its widely used H-BLOCK® Rooftop Support System. The update marks a strategic step forward in improving visibility, installation speed, and long-term performance while reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable construction practices and jobsite safety.

Designed for commercial and industrial rooftop applications, both the Standard and Mini H-BLOCK® product lines will now feature a bold safety orange end cap designed in compliance with ANSI Z535.1 standards. This new end cap is engineered to increase visibility and reduce trip hazards in areas with dense mechanical equipment. Crafted from the same tough material used in stadium seating, the end caps eliminate the need for surface painting and enhance the system’s field durability.
“We're excited to bring meaningful product enhancements to a support system trusted across North America,” said Kate Schuster, Vice President, Commercial at Haydon. “This upgrade reflects our long-term focus on delivering quality, reliable solutions, and peace of mind to contractors and engineers alike.”
The revamped H-BLOCK® Rooftop Support Systems are:
- Proudly made in the USA from 100% recycled, domestically sourced rubber
- Pre-assembled to reduce installation time and avoid roof penetrations
- Tested for durability in extreme conditions, including UV and freeze/thaw performance down to -40°C
- Compatible with most rooftop materials and membrane-safe
- Built to support HVAC systems, piping, ductwork, conduit, solar racking, and more
Product capacities include:

- Mini: 400 lb. uniform load
- Standard: 2,500 lb. uniform load
- Mega: 7,500 lb. uniform load
Each product line is compression-tested to meet ASTM D575 Modified standards and complies with the Buy American Act, Build America, Buy America Act, and American Reinvestment Recovery Act, while also being LEED certifiable. Nationwide shipping for the updated versions begins in July 2025.
