Thompson Thrift Construction is celebrating a growth spurt – and it's all thanks to the incredible talent already within their ranks! Three team members have been promoted to senior vice president positions, reflecting the company's commitment to fostering leadership from within.
"These organizational changes reflect our commitment to fostering a culture of growth and leadership development within our company," said Brian Timberman, president of Thompson Thrift Construction. "We are proud to promote from within and look forward to seeing these individuals' continued success."
Building on a Strong Foundation
Two of the promoted leaders started their journeys as interns with Thompson Thrift. Casey Maxie, now Senior Vice President of Preconstruction, will oversee preconstruction and material procurement from the Indianapolis office. Rob Dougherty, Senior Vice President of Construction, will lead construction operations from Terre Haute. Dougherty boasts an impressive 22-year career with Thompson Thrift, having held roles like superintendent, quality control director, and general superintendent before becoming a vice president in 2016.
Rounding out the promotions is Matt Nickel, who has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Project Controls. Nickel's 17 years with the company have seen him excel in various roles, including project engineer, estimator, project manager, and project executive. In his new role, he'll oversee everything from project controls and scheduling to policies, quality control, warranties, and legal matters.
These promotions aren't the only exciting news. To support their growing workload, Thompson Thrift Construction has also made seven additional well-deserved promotions across their construction team.
Looking to the Future
John Thompson, CEO of Thompson Thrift Construction, shares his enthusiasm: "This is a truly exciting time for our company! Our projected volume this year is more than $600 million and the promotions, new roles and additions to the executive team will ensure we are operating with excellence and focused on long-term strategic goals."
