Barton Malow has appointed Nicole Sakhleh as its Vice President of Legal. In this role, Nicole will provide legal leadership and support to the construction company, ensuring the highest standards of legal and ethical conduct across the organization.
Nicole will develop and implement the legal strategy to align with the company's business goals. Her responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts, advising business units on legal matters, and managing legal claims, including litigation and dispute resolution.
With nearly two decades of experience, Nicole brings a deep understanding of construction law, commercial real estate, contract negotiations, and dispute resolution to Barton Malow. Before joining the company, she held legal positions at General Motors, Rivian, and Redwood Materials. She started her legal career at Potestivo & Associates and Wood, Kull, Herschfus, Obee & Kull, focusing on real estate transactions and litigation.
Nicole is based at Barton Malow’s headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, and reports to Chief Legal Officer Brandon Booth. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law Studies, General Business, Spanish, Political Science, and Economics from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University.
