OTR Engineered Solutions has appointed Oscar Torres as its new president and chief executive officer, effective January 5, 2026, marking a leadership transition aimed at supporting the company’s continued expansion and long-term strategy.
Torres brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in private equity–backed companies, with a strong background in the aerospace aftermarket. He spent much of his career at Kellstrom Aerospace, where he advanced through several senior roles, including chief financial officer, chief operating officer, and ultimately chief executive officer.
During his tenure at Kellstrom, Torres led initiatives focused on operational improvement, strategic growth, and supply-chain optimization. He also played a key role in multiple acquisitions and divestitures, helping position the company as a global provider of technical services and aftermarket solutions for airlines, original equipment manufacturers, maintenance providers, and aircraft lessors.
“Oscar’s proven leadership, collaborative approach, and deep industry knowledge make him exceptionally well suited to lead OTR into its next phase of growth,” said Hector Ramirez, interim president of OTR. “We are excited to welcome him and are confident in the value he will bring to our customers, partners, and stakeholders.”
Torres is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida International University, along with an MBA from the University of Miami. His financial and operational expertise is expected to support OTR’s continued focus on disciplined growth and customer-driven solutions.
OTR Engineered Solutions said it looks forward to building on its existing momentum under Torres’ leadership, continuing to deliver high-quality products and services across its global markets.
OTR Engineered Solutions operates as a global supplier of off-the-road tire, wheel, and track solutions, serving both original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket customers. The company supports a wide range of industries, including construction, agriculture, forestry, mining, material handling, lawn and garden, powersports, and specialty vehicle markets.
In addition to its product offerings, OTR differentiates itself through value-added services such as warehousing, tire mounting, and sequencing, allowing customers to streamline logistics and improve operational efficiency. The company maintains more than 30 facilities and warehouse locations across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
The appointment of Torres comes as OTR continues to strengthen its global footprint and deepen partnerships with OEMs and fleet operators. Company leaders said the transition reflects a commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and scalable growth in a competitive industrial marketplace.
With Torres at the helm, OTR aims to further align its leadership, infrastructure, and service capabilities to meet evolving customer needs while maintaining the collaborative culture that has defined the company’s approach to construction, industrial, and specialty vehicle markets.
