
BOSTON, MA – STV announced today that Tim MacKay, AIA, CCM, has been promoted to area manager in the firm’s program management and construction management (PM/CM) group, where he will lead PM/CM operations, client service and team development for the Boston and Providence offices.
In this role, MacKay oversees project delivery and business development across higher education, healthcare and public sector facilities. His portfolio includes the Matthews Arena in Massachusetts, work for the Eleanor Slater Health system in Rhode Island, ongoing assignments with the Massachusetts State College Building Authority and projects for the City of Everett.

“Tim has earned deep trust with clients by delivering complex programs where rigor, accountability and collaboration matter most,” said Jim Kolb, senior vice president and district manager for the New England PM/CM team at STV. “As area manager, he will strengthen how we deliver complex programs in Greater Boston while continuing to grow our high-performing PM/CM team in the region.”
MacKay brings more than 20 years of experience spanning architecture, CM and owner representation. Since joining STV in 2018, he has served as a project executive and senior leader on institutional and civic projects throughout Massachusetts, with a focus on complex renovations and occupied facilities.
MacKay holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Roger Williams University. He is a registered architect in Massachusetts, a certified construction manager and remains active in the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) as well as the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
STV has supported PM/CM projects in Massachusetts and across New England for decades, delivering complex institutional and public-sector facilities including the REXA headquarters and manufacturing facility in Middleborough and UMass Memorial Satellite Emergency Facility in Groton.
