PURCELLVILLE, Va. — TMG Construction Corporation, a prominent leader in the construction industry, has appointed Jason J. Lynch as the company’s new President. This marks the first time in TMG’s history, since its founding in 1992, that a new President has been named.
Lynch, who has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, has played an integral role at TMG, most recently serving as Vice President of Operations. His expertise spans design-build, bid-build, and task order contracting, and he has overseen numerous projects in commercial, institutional, and government sectors. Lynch is highly regarded for his leadership in operations, workflow management, and team-building, which have consistently contributed to the company’s success.
“After more than 30 years as TMG’s President, I will be stepping back from this role. It is time for fresh, new leadership and I am delighted to see Jason transition to President of TMG Construction,” said Tanya Matthews, TMG Chairman of the Board and President Emeritus.
Joe Matthews, Executive Vice President of TMG Construction, shared, “We have been planning for the next generation. Many of our Executive Committee members have spent our professional careers building TMG and we’ve built it well. Our obligation going forward is to ensure what we’ve done in the formative years at TMG will continue for decades in the future.”
Lynch, a member of the Center for JOC Excellence Board, is also known in his local community for his contributions to school events and other volunteer activities. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from Virginia Tech and has been with TMG since 2014.
