Two major construction projects in Southern California have reached topping out milestones, marking the completion of structural construction and signaling progress toward delivery in the coming years.

Vintage Farms Apartments – Murrieta

In Murrieta, the Vintage Farms apartment community has officially topped out. Built by R.D. Olson Construction, the 15-acre development will include 330 luxury and market-rate apartment homes across 11 residential buildings, along with 15 standalone garage structures.

Designed to accommodate a range of household needs, the community will offer multiple floor plan options and a variety of family-friendly amenities. Planned features include a clubhouse, swimming pool, jacuzzi, BBQ and outdoor gathering areas, and pedestrian walkways that connect residents throughout the site. The project’s location also provides convenient access to nearby shopping, dining, and schools.

Construction progress to date underscores the scale of the project, with R.D. Olson Construction having logged more than 104,000 work hours and poured approximately 8,033 cubic yards of concrete. Vintage Farms is expected to be completed in Fall 2026.

ECS Innovation HUB – Fullerton

In Fullerton, C.W. Driver Companies has achieved the topping out milestone on the $54 million Engineering & Computer Science (ECS) Innovation HUB. The 45,000-square-foot facility is being developed to support the next generation of engineers and technology leaders through advanced academic and collaborative spaces.

The Innovation HUB will feature dry labs dedicated to computing, robotics, materials testing, and cybersecurity, along with makerspaces designed for hands-on learning and interdisciplinary collaboration. Additional spaces include equipment rooms, student lounges, and a dedicated wellness area, creating an environment that supports both innovation and student well-being.

With structural construction now complete, work will continue on interior buildout and systems installation. The ECS Innovation HUB is scheduled for completion in 2027.
