PHOENIX — Global supply chain and logistics company DSV has officially broken ground on its new southwest regional headquarters in Mesa, marking a significant investment in the region’s growing logistics and semiconductor supply chain ecosystem.

The 950,000-square-foot facility will be built just south of Arizona Athletic Grounds, near the intersection of Ellsworth and Pecos roads, according to a company press release. Construction began this week and is expected to be completed in early 2027.

Once operational, the new headquarters is projected to create approximately 160 jobs and will support a range of industries across the Southwest, including semiconductors, consumer products, and technology. The facility will serve the region “with specialized logistics solutions,” the release said.

Mesa has made intentional investments in infrastructure and education to support the type of high-value job growth that DSV will bring to our community,” Somers said.

He added that DSV’s expansion represents “a major vote of confidence” in Mesa and its efforts to strengthen the region’s role in the semiconductor supply chain.

Strengthening Mesa’s Logistics Footprint

DSV operates in more than 90 countries and employs approximately 160,000 people worldwide, making it one of the largest logistics providers globally. The Mesa headquarters will further expand the company’s footprint in Arizona, a state that has seen accelerated growth tied to semiconductor manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, and logistics development.

The project follows other recent industrial investments in Mesa, including the opening of a 125,000-square-foot semiconductor equipment cleaning and coating facility, signaling continued momentum in the city’s industrial and technology corridors.

City and industry leaders have pointed to these developments as part of a broader strategy to position Mesa as a key hub for supply chain operations supporting Arizona’s expanding advanced manufacturing sector.
