Martinsville’s ActivWall Systems, a custom window and door manufacturer, will exhibit at the International Builder’s Show (IBS) for the first time when the event runs from February 17 to 19 in Orlando. Joining them is Evolve Stone, a Winchester-based manufacturer known for its mortarless, nailable stone veneer products.
The annual event draws tens of thousands of builders, contractors, architects and suppliers from across the globe, making it one of the construction industry’s most influential trade shows.
For ActivWall Systems, headquartered in Martinsville, IBS 2026 represents a significant step in its growth strategy. The company plans to unveil three new products at the show, expanding its portfolio of customizable window and door systems.
“Exhibiting at the International Builder’s Show for the first time is a major milestone for ActivWall,” said Duke Ferrell, president and co-founder of ActivWall. “We’re proud to represent Virginia while introducing new products that reflect our commitment to innovation, performance, and thoughtful design.”
Company leaders say the new product launches are designed to meet increasing demand for energy efficiency, modern aesthetics, and flexible living spaces. By participating in IBS, ActivWall hopes to strengthen partnerships with national builders and distributors while entering new regional markets.
Evolve Stone, based in Winchester, will also showcase its lightweight stone veneer solutions, which are engineered for easier installation without mortar. The company has gained recognition in recent years for simplifying stone façade applications for residential and commercial projects.
ActivWall’s debut at IBS was supported in part by funding assistance from the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP). The partnership helps Virginia companies access new domestic and international markets through trade shows, export assistance, and strategic development initiatives.
“Support from the VEDP has been instrumental in helping us bring ActivWall to larger audience, and we’re excited to showcase what’s possible when great products and great partners come together,” Ferrell said.

State economic officials have emphasized that helping Virginia manufacturers expand beyond regional markets strengthens job creation and long-term economic resilience. Trade show participation often opens the door to distributor agreements, builder contracts, and international export opportunities.
The 2026 IBS gathering is expected to feature hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of attendees, providing a competitive but high-visibility platform for emerging and established brands alike. For both ActivWall and Evolve Stone, the showcase offers an opportunity to highlight Virginia-based manufacturing on a global stage.
