The Northwest Indiana Business RoundTable, in partnership with the Construction Advancement Foundation, will host its annual awards banquet May 7 at Avalon Manor.
Scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m., the event is expected to draw more than 600 attendees, including builders, project owners and industry stakeholders. Organizers say the banquet will recognize over 60 award recipients who have demonstrated leadership in construction safety, craftsmanship and innovation.
The annual banquet highlights the shared commitment of both organizations to advancing best practices within the construction industry.
The Construction Advancement Foundation focuses on honoring excellence in project execution, craftsmanship and innovation, spotlighting companies and teams that deliver high-quality work across the region.
Meanwhile, the Northwest Indiana Business RoundTable emphasizes workplace safety, recognizing organizations that demonstrate strong safety performance, effective incident prevention strategies and a culture of accountability.
“The annual awards banquet is an opportunity to reiterate the importance of making safety a core value,” said Rick Foor, chair of NWIBRT’s safety committee. “The commitment not only protects workers, but it strengthens the whole industry.”
Beyond the awards presentation, the event provides a platform for professionals to connect, exchange ideas and strengthen relationships within the regional construction community.

The banquet has become one of the region’s premier construction industry events, reflecting ongoing efforts to elevate standards in both safety and project delivery.
Attendees will also have access to information on tickets and sponsorship opportunities through the event organizers, with proceeds supporting initiatives that promote workforce development and safety awareness.
As the construction industry continues to evolve, events like this play a critical role in reinforcing best practices and recognizing the professionals and organizations driving progress.
