Free Mental Health Briefing for Construction Leaders

Construction Leaders Invited to Free Mental Health Briefing Ahead of Suicide Prevention Week

TUCSON, Ariz. — August 6, 2025 — With Construction Suicide Prevention Week (Sept. 8–12) fast approaching, The Wounded Workforce® is offering a free virtual Executive Briefing to help industry leaders prepare to address mental health on jobsites with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

This special session—“Before the Stand-Down: Executive Briefing on Mental Health in Construction”—is tailored for construction executives, HR professionals, safety managers, and trade association leaders. Its goal is to equip decision-makers with tools, messaging guidance, and real-time data to initiate meaningful conversations during the National Stand-Down on Sept. 8 and beyond.

“Leaders are expected to show up during Suicide Prevention Week—but many are unsure what to say or how to say it,” said Stephanie Lemek, Founder and CEO of The Wounded Workforce®. “This briefing is designed to close that gap with relevant data, practical tools, and culturally competent strategies that resonate in construction.”

What Participants Can Expect

  • The latest mental health and suicide prevention statistics specific to the construction industry
  • Messaging guidance for toolbox talks, site huddles, and executive memos
  • Case studies and best practices from companies that have successfully launched mental health initiatives
  • Simple, actionable tools to support jobsite teams without burdening field leadership
